PRECISION 3-PHASE ELECTRONIC POWER SUPPLY
TYPE PG300







The Convex Design PG300 is a precision 3-phase electronic power supply providing a full 3-phase, 4-wire voltage output facility with three isolated current outputs and is powered from either a 110V or 240V single phase supply.

The level of each voltage or current output may be adjusted from zero to full scale using a multiturn potentiometer and the magnitude of each output is displayed on a digital panel meter (one per output).

The phase relation between the three voltage outputs is fixed at 120° and the phase of each current output may be adjusted over the range -199° to +199° referenced to the corresponding voltage channel. In addition a ±1.5° continuously variable phase shift control is provided for each current output.

Variable phase shift on the yellow and blue voltage phases can be supplied as an option.

The voltage and current outputs are low distortion (better than 0.2% total harmonic distortion) with voltage outputs providing up to 25VA per channel and the current channels providing up to 15VA. The current outputs are of constant current format and are protected against open-circuit operation.

The output frequency of 50Hz is crystal-controlled. Variable frequency is also available as an option.

The unit is housed in a two-tone grey metal case with a recessed handle in each side panel and is supplied complete with manual and test leads.
